Lost People Matter To God

Jonah 4:1-11

1. Never forget who God is
   1. God is available
   2. God is gracious
   3. God is merciful
   4. God is long-suffering
   5. God is loving
   6. God is forgiving
   7. God is patient
2. Never forget why you are here
   1. You are not here to condemn
   2. You are not here to be comfortable
3. Never forget what really matters
   1. You need to have God’s perspective
      1. The stuff of this life matters little
   2. You need to have God’s pity
      1. The souls of the lost matter tremendously

Bottom Line:

Lost people matter to Jesus. He died for everyone. Lost people must matter to us too. Eternity is too long, heaven and hell are too real. Let’s not forget why we are here. Let’s not forget what really matters. It’s souls!
