A Place Where Children Are Loved
Mt. Pisgah Kids aims to provide an exciting and loving worship experience for your children! Kids will learn about Jesus throughout the week (through games, songs, lessons, and activities), and parents will receive resources on how to continue these important spiritual conversations at home!
Mt. Pisgah Kids currently meets on Sundays and Wednesdays! On Sundays, we meet for Sunday School at 9:15 AM, and for Kids Worship at 10:30 AM! Our check-in station is located at the entrance of the Chapel!
Our Wednesday Evening Kids Program, called "KidVenture," starts at 6 PM with free dinner in the Fellowship Hall! At 6:30 PM, the fun begins! Each month, our children go on a new "adventure" through the Bible!

July Theme
During the month of July, we will be continuing our VBS theme! Our elementary kids will be learning Proverbs 17:22, which states, "A cheerful heartmakes you healthy.But a broken spirit dries you up."
Last Blast Before Class
On Wednesday, August 7, we will be having our Last Blast Before Class! Our 5th + 6th Graders are invited to join us as we kick off our Pre-Teen Ministry! It’s going to be a messy night, so make sure you bring appropriate clothes! Dinner will not be served this evening, but we will be providing snacks! The fun kicks off at 6 PM! See you there!
Back To School Bash
Our annual “Back To School” Bash will be taking place on Wednesday, August 14, at 6:30 PM! More details will be coming soon, but we’d love to see you there!
Promotion Sunday
Sunday, August 11, is PROMOTION SUNDAY! What does this mean? Our upcoming 1st graders will transfer out of Preschool Ministry! Our Pre-Teens (5th and 6th grade) will start attending their own Sunday School classes & they will begin attending Morning Worship alongside the adults!
Midweek Relaunch
On Wednesday, August 21, we will be relaunching all of our midweek activities, including KidVenture! Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM, followed by FUN at 6:30!
Fifth Sunday Worship
On the fifth Sunday of the applicable months, elementary kids will be attending Morning Worship in the Sanctuary! Our nursery will remain open for babies & toddlers! Our pre-schoolers will also still meet in the Children's Wing for their preschool worship service! All of our normal Sunday School classes will still be offered! We are so excited for this time of multi-generational worship!
Preschool Spotlight
Each month, our preschoolers will have a biblical theme that they learn about! Along with that theme, they will learn a memory verse, bottom line, and basic truth! Scroll down to see what they're learning this month!
July Theme
In the month of July, our preschoolers will be continuing our VBS theme! Their memory verse will be found in Luke 2:10, which states, “I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.” Their big idea for the month is that Jesus gives us joy!
The Parent Cue
Hey parents! Want to start more spiritual conversations at home, but aren't sure how? The "Parent Cue" App is a great resource! This app is stocked with activities, conversation guides and resources to help you and your child follow Jesus more closely. You can even watch the weekly Bible Story that your child will see at church!
The Bible App for Kids
The Bible app has some awesome, and engaging videos on their YouTube channel. Their channel features tons of bible stories that are easily understood and explained just for your children. Check out their channel through the link below.
Infants - 5 Years Old
Mt. Pisgah Kids for 0-5 years old is all about fun! Games, crafts and interactive Bible teaching are where it’s at for our little ones.
K - 5th Grade
Ready for a high-energy experience for your high-energy kids? With crazy contests, awesome music, and a message just their size, Mt. Pisgah Kids will keep them WANTING to come to church.
Frequently Asked Questions
We have Kids Check-In kiosks available for you at the entrance of our kids ministry building . If it’s your first time, the process only takes a couple of minutes. Upon check-in, you’ll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you’ll show the Kids leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from his/her room.
Safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why you’ll receive a parent identification number each time you check in. During the check-in process you will have the opportunity to disclose heath issues or allergies. Additionally, every volunteer is screened and participates in a background check. After the service, you’ll show the Mt Pisgah Kid’s leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from his/her room.
