Letting Go Of Your Past

Luke 22:61-62

What does the enemy say about your past?

The enemy says that you are

1. Unforgivable
2. Unlovable
3. Useless

If you can’t let go of your past, you can’t take hold of your future.

John 21:15-1

Although you can’t change your past, God can change your future.

How do you let go of your past?

1. Close the door to your past. (1 John 1:9)
   • God’s grace is bigger than your sin.
   • Your standing with God is determined by RELATIONSHIP, not RULES.
   • John 1:12-13

2. Step into your future

• God saves you from your PAST, so you can step into your FUTURE.  

Philippians 3:12-14

Bottom Line: Your story is NOT a story about your FAILURES, but instead, a story about GOD’S VICTORY.
