Letting Go Of Bitterness

Hebrews 12:14-15

You can’t control what people do, but you can control how you respond.

What is the problem with bitterness?

1. Bitterness has a dangerous root.
2. Bitterness has a poisonous fruit.

How do you kill the root of bitterness?

1. With compassion
2. With forgiveness

Bottom Line: Our life is too valuable, our calling too great and our God too good for us to be held in the bondage of the sin of bitterness.

We can’t control what people do, but we can control how we respond!
