Week Three- Commandments
Matthew 22:33-40
- When our theology doesn’t extend to loving action, we look a lot like the Pharisees.
- Our love of God is meant to overflow into our love for others.
- Jesus did not become a heretic because He ate with sinners, showed mercy to adulterers, or bucked certain religious traditions.
Bottom Line: If we want our good theology to influence a broken world around us, we have to start with love for the people of our broken world- inside and outside of the church.
