What Is Really Important?
Colossians 2:16-23
Things people were adding onto the gospel
- Food + drink regulations
- Observations of certain religious festivals
- False humility
- Worship of angels
- Rules regarding contact with physical objects
- Regulations which led to harsh treatment of the body
Paul told the Colossians to not let anyone judge them for their regulations to all these extras.
Paul really wants the Colossians to understand that Jesus is all that they need.
Bottom Line: Jesus is our reason for being and He is all that we need!
